Violin is unforgiving of bad early habits. Posture, bow hold, and intonation set in the first months follow a player for years — which is why the actual teacher matters more for violin than almost any other instrument. Alona Liesniak is a classically trained violinist with a master’s degree in music and international orchestral performance experience — and violin is her first instrument.

For beginners (ages 5+): correct setup from day one, properly sized instruments (with guidance on renting before you buy), and songs worth practicing.

For school orchestra students: seating auditions, ensemble preparation, and the individual attention a classroom of thirty can’t give.

For advanced and returning players: repertoire, audition preparation, and refinement with a teacher who has sat in professional orchestras.

Online students: live one-on-one violin lessons anywhere in Arizona and beyond — with the same personal attention as in-studio lessons.

Violin lessons are $50 per half hour or $90 per hour. Arizona ESA funds accepted — we handle the invoicing.
